Srebrenica is a town in eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The urban part of the Srebrenica is located in the valley of the river Krljevica at 448 meters surrounded by hills Sušica mountains.
The city is located about 160 kilometers from Sarajevo. The massacre in Srebrenica, also known as Srebrenica Genocide, was in July 1995, where it's killed about 8,000 Muslim men and boys in the region of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Bosnian Serb forces, the Army of Serbian Republic (VRS), under the command of General Ratko Mladic during the Bosnian war.
Srebrenica Genocide is considered as one of the biggest massacres in Europe since World War II. The cemetery in Potocari, which was established in 2000. year and was officially opened by President Clinton 2003. The successive joint burial was established as a place to preserve memories of the Srebrenica massacre. Wall of memories-8372 number of victims disappeared in genocide july 1995.
Another striking object in the composition of sacred part of the Memorial Center in Potocari is the "Museum of Genocide“.
